I think that depends on what your summer is...never been to Canada, but I'm thinking it's gotta be better that the humid summers with triple digit temps we get in Texas. Anything over 85 and I just don't do very well.
As for the cold, I've been very hot natured all my life, but for the first couple of months after bypass, I was cold all the time. But that's changed back to being hot natured again.
As a general rule of thumb for me, anything under our 32 degrees freezing mark it's hard to breath and anything over 85 wilts me now.

Yep, Rose....and we're going from 86 this week to possibility of snow in next couple of days. It's been up and down like that in Texas. Sure is playing havoc with respiratory illnesses here. I was just bragging this week...even Friday...how I'd dodge the bullet on that.
But what started as an annoying hack around 10 Friday morning, hit me Friday night with a vengeance and chills and fever. I awoke with 101.1 on Saturday morning and got right in to see the doc.
I have bronchitis. Temperature spiked to 103.3 last night. She says she has many with it going into pneumonia. I hope I got on antibiotics in time to prevent there. But I've been as weak as a kitten all weekend, and I don't see myself going to school tomorrow. I just can't stay up much and I have muscles that hurt from coughing so violently. I didn't know coughing could make your buttocks sore, but it's gone past my rib cage, into my back and buttocks. It hurts me so badly to cough, I'm back to using my CABG heart pillow to brace myself for it.
You can adjust your membership where you don't receive the emails. You can also elect to receive just a list of all messages for the day, or read strictly from the board, receiving no emails. Sounds like one of those options may be best for you.
I'm saying that nicer than I really want to right now, 'cause being sick tends to make me crabby. But I don't want to say anything I will regret to someone who sought out help from a support group.
If you are new, you obviously came here for a reason. I hope you'll stick around long enough to find out whatever it is you want to receive from a CABG group.
Because you haven't shared your story, and you may feel really sick, depressed, or stressed right now I'm gonna overlook the attitude right now. Anytime you have a question or want to join in, you'll find support here. From everyone...including me.

The people in this list are like family. As a matter of fact, they sometimes understand us better than our own families do because we have all gone through the same thing and we take similar medications and we have a lot in common. Sometimes, we need compassion, sometimes we need advice.Sometimes we need to vent and sometimes we get off topic and talk about our personal lives. That is how we get to know eachother. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Thanks so much Ursula!
I'm up right now, but sleep a lot this afternoon. We are having severe storms in North Texas and are under a tornado watch, flood watch, high winds, and hail before the chance of snow comes through. Love Texas, I'm native, but the weather can be strange!
Tomorrow may be a good day to stay home sick! And at least I got the worst part over with this weekend, so I won't miss as much work.

Besides the crazy weather, I'm remembering now that my body went without sleep on 22nd and 23rd. My stepson amputated two of his fingers and lacerated a third to the bone on the job just before midnight, and I was carrying around a bag of fingers most of Friday after they sent him home from the emergency room. He didn't get to have surger until 6 pm the following evening and it lasted until 9pm and in recovery until midnight again.
I didn't take care of my body that week; it's payback time I guess.
My days of staying out all night were over long ago...and 2 days in a row probably got me.
I had forgotten about that.
